What is the ACCOUNTABLE HEALTH PLAN OF OHIO (AHPO) network?

The AHPO is a preferred provider organization (PPO) developed by the THE OHIO HEALTH PURCHASING ALLIANCE (THE ALLIANCE), an Ohio non-profit association of employers dedicated to providing quality, cost-effective health care to their employees and eligible family members. The AHPO network is comprised of hospitals, primary care physicians, specialists and other healthcare providers in Central and South Central Ohio. THE ALLIANCE has negotiated competitive fees with AHPO providers, in exchange for providing benefit incentives for employees and dependents to seek care from providers in the network. |
