What is a PPO?
A PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) is a network of hospitals, physicians and other health care providers that have contractually agreed to offer discounted fees to participating groups. When you use physicians or hospitals in the PPO, your out-of-pocket expenses are less than if you use a provider that does not belong to the PPO. |
